Hello fellow Sojourners! I’m Cathy and I’m so happy you are here.
After years of living with fatigue, muscle and joint pain, and all around randomly strange symptoms, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Until my doctors diagnosed my problem, this wife, mother, licensed pharmacist and friend decided to do what’s in my power to regain my health and wellbeing. I was surprised with the positive results. It made sense to cut out lifestyle habits that caused inflammation and to replace them with healing habits.
When I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), I was able to augment my medical treatment with these new lifestyle habits to further my recovery. And this is what I will share, hoping it inspires you to make changes in your lifestyle to cut down on systemic inflammation, hence allowing your body better health and wellbeing.
In a nutshell, I focus on 5 different lifestyle habits. And I created an acronym to make it easy to remember them!
I call it my *FRESH*™ Approach to regaining health and wellbeing. It involves Food (diet), Rest and Relaxation (stress reduction), Exercise (Keep moving), Sleep ( a good bedtime routine), and Hydration (lubricating those joints and flushing out toxins).
So, I hope you join me on this journey back to health. It is a lot more fun to share the trip, my fellow sojourners! This is the place for information, not inflammation!
